Krone UK look forward to welcoming Lamma visitors to Hall 19, Stand 530 where they can see the latest technologies and speak to the team, who can explain how Krone machines can benefit your business.

The Krone stand will be laid out into defined segments, visitors can see tedders and rakes together, and make their way to the baler area where they can also interact with the latest telemetry. The mowers, forage wagon and BigX will be together. A new Krone merchandise store will make it’s debut, as well as a place to discuss warranty and finance with professionals.

Vendro C 1340 Tedder

Visitors will get a first UK look at the all-new Vendro 1340 C, a 13.4m 12-rotor tedder that takes forage spreading to the next level of efficiency and output.

Equipped with the OptiTurn rotor concept, the tine profile is designed to lift the crop using more of the tine to achieve a uniform spread with gentle handling of the crop, improving wilt and crop presentation to following equipment.

The guide wheels run closely to the tine as it meets the crop for optimal contour following, and less soil contamination, this is greatly improved by stepped tine length which allows the operator to set the ground clearance perfectly.

Designed for maximum efficiency and reliability, the angle of spread can be adjusted tool-free from 13-19°. It’s a must-see for anyone in the forage sector seeking maximum output and quality of work.

Mowers, Rakes and Tedders Trilogy deal

Krone UK are offering a six month deferral on payment on any two machines bought together, from a choice of three machines in two ranges:-

The farmers choice: EasyCut R 320 CV Mower, Vendro 790 Tedder or Swadro TC 640 Rake.

The contractors Choice: EasyCut R 320 CV Mower, EasyCut F 320 CV Mower, Vendro 900 or wider tedder, Swadro TC 1250 or Swadro TC 1370 rakes.

The trilogy deal will be offered through selected dealers and Krone Finance T’s & C’s apply see krone-uk.com for details

The Swardro TC 1250 will be on show, our smallest four rotor rake is now available withWith either the new DS50 control box or ISOBUS Preselect control which allows the operator to preselect the function on the screen and operate the desired service using the tractor remote valves.

BiG X Efficiency

In the BiG X area visitors can interact with the BiG X crop and power flow, and see the MaxFlow drum and the latest hardware feature to be added to the narrow body range of forage harvesters. The new sharpening system was awarded a DLG Silver Medal at Agritechnica 2023, and is now available throughout the whole BiG X range.

The system allows the whole stone to be used compared to the previous system that meant discarding 40-55% of the stone. It extends the service life to 2200 sharpening cycles, and provides a more consistent knife edge across the cutting drum.

Krone have led the way with high horsepower forage harvesters since the BiG X launch, we also offer efficiency with four models 980, 680, 580 and the 480, that can have ExtraPower.

This offers customers the ability to buy the forage harvester they need, with the potential to increase output when you need it for large crops. The power can be purchased in blocks of 50 hours, through  their MyKrone.Green account using E-solutions and used when needed.

Technology

Smart Telematics Plus is an expansion to the existing Telematics system bringing the ability to export ISO XML, Excel or shape file formats can be transferred straight into farm management software, the data can also be shared via Agrirouter.

Any machine equipped with a KRONE telematics modem can be used with this system (mowers with KSC Solars or the standard KSC500).  BigX forage harvesters, which if equipped with Crop Control and Krone NIR, it is possible to get a comprehensive crop analysis and yield data straight to your phone or computer. BigPack and Comprima balers can also befit from the system when equipped with moisture monitoring and weighing systems.

Bale Tagger is an extension of Smart bale, adding another level of documentation and simplifying traceability to forage making. The system physically tags bales made by BigPack balers with a plastic tag, marked with a QR code and containing an RFID chip, so even bales that are wrapped can be identified.

The system elevates the traceability of fodder further in conjunction with the Smart Bale system, with the two systems, bales can be sorted by weight and moisture before transport and stacking. This allows farmers and contractors to segregate bales with higher moisture to be used first, or stacked separately, whilst giving accurate traceability for retail.

RX self loading forage wagon

After a successful first year in UK fields, the RX self loading forage wagon will be on show, the hardware and cutting innovation that has proven itself in the large capacity ZX series has translated into the smaller body of the RX wagon in sizes from 33-40m3.

The OptiGrass concept with either 28 or 37mm theoretical chop length; starts at the rotor edges where the split cut integrated auger moves the crop back into the centre of the rotor preventing the  grass going past the last knife and the sidewall for a consistent cut length throughout the entire load.

The decentralised rotor tine tips ensure an accurate scissor action against the stationary knives, producing a consistent high quality cut in varying crop conditions
